Duchy College Stoke Climsland is situated between the towns of Callington and Launceston just over the Cornwall/Devon border on a working commercial farm. Our extensive grounds are spread over approximately 247 hectares and are an excellent setting for our agriculture, equine, animal management, land-based engineering, plant operations, groundworks & construction, foundation learning, military & protective services (MAPS), outdoor adventure and sport courses.
The ‘Future Farm’ development, a new state of the art dairy unit is coming on line in September, this investment will deliver a research facility that is one of only two of its kind in the UK.
On the main campus we have an equine yard, with stabling for over 50 horses, 2 indoor arenas and an outdoor arena, a dedicated animal management centre housing a wide range of animal species, from small mammals to reptiles with brand new facilities coming on line for September including a brand new Dog Grooming Parlour.
We also have land-based engineering workshops, groundworks training areas, sports hall, various grass pitches and MAPS training area including Mud Run.
