Student Life at Duchy College Rosewarne
We are committed to supporting all of our learners, from initial advice and guidance when applying for a course, through a tutorial system during your studies as well as careers advice and guidance when planning your next step.

The Cornwall College Group Students’ Union (CCSU) exists to represent your voice and to make sure you have a fantastic time while you are a student with us. Every campus has a team of elected student officers who will be working hard all year, from organising parties to running campaigns, and most importantly representing the student voice, so you’ll have plenty of chances to get involved.

Meet the Team
Learner Enrichment Officer
“I studied English at Swansea University, travelled the world in a year out, then studied my PGCE at Marjons Plymouth. I was a primary school teacher for 20 years before starting at Rosewarne in 2016
I am the Learner Enrichment Officer at Rosewarne and my job varies from day to day – just how I like it! I support our VERY active CCSU team here with their weekly meetings, initiatives, trips and fundraising ideas. I oversee The Nest, the social space on campus, where students meet from across the various courses to interact, make friends, unwind and be themselves. I also support our learners by running enrichment activities on anything from resilience to mental wellness, from careers advice to sexual health and well-being. Running our Facebook page has really taken off over the years with followers from Rosewarners past and present- take a look!
It’s such a rewarding job here at Rosewarne and I wouldn’t want to swap it for anything. So whether I am supporting our CCSU Upskill team to build “The Chillout” as a sensory garden for quiet times, getting water chucked over me for charity or flying head first into a freezing lake on our Retallack Trip to End All Trips…I love it!”
